A chance act of compassion & assistance at a "Barktoberfest" Northern Virginia animal rescue adoption/community event was the catalyst for Mission Happy Paws. A common heart-centric value and bond was shared between Luck of The Irish & Animal Angel Aid. The initial acts of compassion & kindness between the rescue's humans lead to a belief that Animal Rescues should & CAN strive to have core values of working together:

• For all animals, even if they're a partner rescues.
• Share resources to help animals
• Provide resources to keep companion animals in their homes
• Save as many shelter animals, even if it's one by one.
• Show compassion for community cats/dogs thru education & TNR.

Like attracts like, and more and more individuals, groups, businesses (animal rescue related & animal lover's) wanted to be involved. The MISSION goal was creating resources via foster, adoption, volunteer, education & partnerships and sponsorships for every animal to have a HAPPY PAWS life!
